A Warm Welcome to
Josie Mazzo Children's Charities!
Josie Mazzo Children's Charities (JMCC) was established in 2007 to fund research of rare childhood diseases and to provide resources for families of the children who suffer from these illnesses. JMCC aims to raise money and distribute it to families of children with long-term medical conditions and to other selected non-profit organizations that support these children and families. JMCC is completely funded by you, so please Donate Now and help support the cause.

Every 30 minutes a child is born with mitochondrial disease. To help raise awareness and money to find a cure for the disease, UMDF held the Energy for Life Walkathon on Saturday, April 2nd at The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.
The goal for this event was to raise $44,000. This goal was met - and exceeded! Proceeds from the walkathon will be donated to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides support to families affected by the disease.
Thank you to everyone that participated and donated. A special thanks to Team Josie!!
