JMCC was founded in February 2007.
Money is raised through individual and business donations and fundraising events, such as the annual golf tournament.
JMCC's 5th Annual Golf Tournament in 2010 raised about $31,000 to be distributed to families and organizations.
Organizational donations to: United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville, and Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
